The DMU 50 / 70 is the ideal foundation for entry into innovative CNC universal milling, and offers the latest high-tech components in the compact class. In a class by itself, is the DMU monoBLOCK® series that has 5-axis simultaneous milling in the standard version, as well as the highest dynamics in the rotary axes. That means efficient universal machining ranging into the high-speed sector.
Complete machining in one setting – The high-tech Universal Milling Machines of the DMU eVolution / DMU P / FD series introduces new possibilities for 5-sided maching, 5-axis positioning or 5-axis simultaneous contour machining. The duoBLOCK® design combines the advantages of a travelling column construction with the advantages of a gantry design, and guarantees maximum precision, rigidity and dynamics.
The second generation of travelling column machines were developed with the following features - “more precision, more flexibility and more efficiency. High precision is provided by the rigid cast-iron machine bed and the symmetric travel column. User-oriented spindles, integrated NC-tables and the work area partition, make the series a flexible machining option that has up to 5-axis machining capabilities.
The latest machine design of the DMC V series couples an affordable price with high- quality machines that include features such as a 10,000 rpm motor spindle, a 20x tool magazine with a double gripper, high rapid traverse speeds and high-tech controls with 3D-software. With numerous options, this series is predestined for machining in tool and die making as well as efficient serial production.
The MILLTAP is the first new development by DMG / MORI SEIKI. Impressive aspects include the tool changer, fast Siemens 840D solutionline control, stable machine construction, optimal chip flow as well as chip disposal during machining and a small footprint.
The new horizontal series – The complete DMC H series in the duoBLOCK® design is immediately available for challenging users. From performance milling with linear drives up to heavy roughing with maximum feed power, the horizontal design offers each user an individualised machine design.
The machines of the DMC U / FD series are equipped with fast pallet changers and have a universal milling head for automatic vertical to horizontal automatic swivelling. In combination with the NC-rotary table, this allows 5-sided machining, and the proven duoBLOCK® design ensures flexibility in the aerospace, automotive tool and die, workpiece manufacturing and medical technology industries.
High-end applications in tool and mould making are reserved for the 5-axis HSC Precision Centres, and set standards with the linear and torque technology in all axes, with > 2 g acceleration, spindle rotational speed up to 42,000 rpm and a stable, lasting, precise construction. With 5-10 times higher cutting speeds as well as reduced cutting powers and reduced vibrations, the best surfaces and precision are reached.
